Frank
I finally made my way to Whitstable in Kent to visit the lovely shop, Frank. This small space is filled with the most wonderful collection of items that fit into the shop’s ethos of good sustainable and conscious design and art. The small selection of books range from fiction, cook books, children’s books and non-fiction but all tie in with the theme of living kindly and consciously. The handmade textiles are stunning works of craft and are so beautiful to touch. Frank also carries a large selection of artwork, mostly prints but a variety of styles that all showcase the beauty of the natural world. There is also lovely collection of ceramics and wood pieces that are expertly made and just so lovely and whimsical.
It’s very obvious that the team behind Frank take such great care in working with artists and designers that truly reflect their values and goals for Frank. They have created such a fantastic space I really recommend a visit if you are ever near the coast.
