Saba Lashay
The simplicity and effectiveness of changing line weights has always blown me away. Just the tiniest change can have such an incredible impact. The illustrations of London’s Saba Lashay very much use the power of lines to alter and achieve amazing things in their work.
With an education in interior design, Lashay decided to focus on illustration knowing that was where their heart belonged. From day to day activities, books and music, Lashay finds inspiration everywhere. From realistic to the whimsical, the content is so wonderfully detailed and so intricate. Lashay’s work is primarily in black and white but some work does explore colour which is also really beautiful. This wildly talented being hopes to one day write and illustrate their own children’s books, I sincerely hope that dream becomes a reality.
