Natasha Newton

The illustrations of Natasha Newton are incredible. Her work of intricate and delicate and full of texture and detail. She describes her work as ‘sophisticated folk art’ and I think it’s a perfect explanation. Her use of simple forms, varying line weights and earthy, saturated colours are so nostalgic and make them feel so much more precious. Her landscape scenes have a way of evoking the feeling of being there. I feel like you can immediately sense the cozy cottage on a cold winter night or the warm autumn sun and hear the crunch of leaves under your feet.

Natasha Newton’s work is beautiful and enchanting, I’m so glad she’s sharing her passion and talent with the world.
