Liz Sofield

Lis Sofield is an Australian based fibre and ceramic artist who is creating the most incredible work.

Using her crochet skills, she combines those forms with the ceramics to create pieces that are both robust in material but delicate and full of movement and texture.

Sofield’s work with paper folding and thread results in pieces that are just stunning. The dimension and intricacy of these pieces is mesmerizing. It’s amazing how two simple materials and actions can work together to create such fantastic artwork.
