The work of Charlotte Taylor is truly enchanting. Her ability to create stunning scenes with her monotone colours and geometric shapes amazes me.
These spaces and structures are sometimes representations of actual projects like the Barcelona Pavilion or other projects by modernist designers like Mies Van der Rohe and Alvar Aalto. Other pieces are fictional but something about them makes them seem like somewhere you have visited before. Almost a nostalgic feeling occurs even though the is the first time seeing her work.
I love the light, the angles, the use of colour and form. With some many elements occurring in one image Taylor’s work is still serene and delicate. Such amazing talent!
