Lemuel MC
The clothing designs of East London’s, Lemuel MC are such wonderful pieces of work. Elegant, classic, sophisticated and unique are all great at describing this wildly talented designer.
Clean lines and minimalist forms are complemented by wonderful details such as collars and pleats. What was also so amazing about the work that Lemuel MC does is that they work with linen for all of their designs. I’ve known that linen is a great material but had no idea until I read more about this amazing textile on the Lemuel MC website. It fantastic addition the website to have all of this incredibly relevant information about the material they work with to help with understanding and appreciating the studio and why the purchase matters so much not only to the designer but also the environment.
Lemuel MC is creating such beautiful work in such meaningful way during a period where conscious consumerism is critical, my hope is that other designers can also find the same kind of purpose and emphasis for their work.
