feeeels magazine
My most recent independent was a really intriguing read full of so many interesting topics. Each issue of feeeels magazine is dedicated to an adjective. Contributors respond to the theme with topics from art, history, culture and basically anything!
The topic for this issue was ‘slick’. The responses varied form article about the well known white, plastic lawn chair to the history of slipping on a banana peel and its role in comedy. I especially loved the article about eels. Eels are apparently so difficult to study and scientists are still baffled by their exitence. Some are hundreds of years old because they can ‘hibernate’ in the bottom of bodies of water for years. Everything was so mind blowing! I definitely want to check out of more issues of feeels to see what else they come up with.
