These stunning wood designs are from the mega talent, Vancouver based studio, ORIGINS. Working primarily with FSC certified timbers, ORIGINS creates work that is visually beautiful and incredibly functional.
ORIGINS has incredible ability to merge the worlds of sculpture and design. The Tempo bench with its undulating interior creates an artist piece of design that provides storage as well as interaction and visual intrigue.
ORIGINS also creates sculptural work that is wonderfully fluid and soft which is impressive given the solidity of timber. The way they use and highlight negative space is quite playful with very elegant results.
The work of ORIGINS is truly timeless classics in the making. They have such a stunning portfolio of work that is full of care, consideration and pushes the limits of what a material can accomplish.
