Spako Clay

The designs of Spako Clay are a great combination of modern forms and illustrations mixed with traditional finishes and textures. The fine, whimsical quality of her hand drawings is a perfect offset to the massing of the stoneware.

Each pieces already appears to have lived a full life as glazing and textures are irregular and uneven. This quality of finish gives Spako Clay a sense of nostalgia and wonder which is so intriguing and lovely.
