I've just finished reading an independent publication called Romance Journal. This beautifully laid out and gorgeous gloss covered magazine is dedicated to exploring a theme through interviews with ten tremendous women.
This second issue of Romance Journal is dedicated to the theme of 'resistance'. RJ talks to incredible women who all speak of how they interact, interpret and understand resistance through feminism, intersectionality and activism. Interviewees include Amani Al-Khatahtbeh, Editor-in-Chief of MuslimGirl.com, activist Mila Jam, filmmaker Shruti Ganguly who all speak openly and honestly about their own journeys while also providing insights on what we need to do as individuals and communities about adversities and how resistance is crucial in that.
It's an eye-opening and inspiring read for any one but especially empowering for a growing feminist like myself. I so strongly recommend.
