Alison Stockmarr

The artwork of Alison Stockmarr just blows me away . Using old found objects, vintage books and vinyl records and letter, she creates stories that literally spill out of their keepers. Book covers become three dimensional glimpses into the story while letters overflow with intriguing items and at times a subtle cheekiness.

Stockmarr’s work is captivating and just so full of nostalgia. It leaves me lusting over what else lies within, especially when she leaves a peak of a letter inside an envelope. Alison Stockmarr truly makes these everyday items come alive with beauty and intrigue. So in love.
